Hey guys. So I have a 97 explorer that was a 4.0. it's been body swapped to a 97 V8 mounty chassis.
I usually use an edge insight CTS for extra gauges reading factory sensors on the computer and odb codes.
Issue I'm having is it won't read the sensor data anymore. Like ECT, oil, gas level, rpm, etc. Even using a mechanic grade scan tool it won't work. Neither detect my vehicle properly and have to be manually setup to get obd2 codes(at least I can get codes I guess). There are no codes being thrown at all either.
My edge works as should in every other vehicle I connect it to. So does the scanner.
Are some computers just not supported for data like that, or is there some kind of issue?
I'm so used to reading gauges off that thing it's throwing me off not having it lol.
