Factory Reset

I think i confused my Sync. i was hooked up bluetooth and plugged in usb at the same time. Don't remember now specifically what happened, but the upshot is I can no longer bluetooth the phone, but can audio stream just like i always have. No problem rockin' out, but the phone says "no connected phone" or words to that effect. Don't think its the phone cuz I have no probs using it normally in the wife's prius, streams and phones just fine in that car.

I'm thinking maybe a factory reset, but was wondering what i might run into doing it. Anyone ever done it? Would appreciate any advice you all could offer.
