Factory Sirius and Upgrading HU

Hey Guys, My '06 EB has the Factory Sirius Option and I am subscribed. Now sometime in the future, I would like to upgrade to a Double DIN Screen in the dash. Would it use the same Sat antenna as i'm using now? I was reading on crutchfield that with all the screens, "You'll lose factory SIRIUS Satellite Radio capability if you replace the factory radio"

Can someone please explain for me!

Well the harness is meant to work with the factory stereo, an aftermarket would need a different connector, so you won't be able to keep the Sirius tuner with an aftermarket HU, you'd need to get the kit that works with your new HU

As far as using the factory antenna, I believe that can be done with an adapter that I've seen available from someone like installer.com...and a couple of other places that specialize in this sort of thing. But take a look at the antenna connector you have now and what your new radio has. It just might match up. I get confused when it comes to all these antenna connectors for Nav, satellite, etc...
