Anyone know anything about these stock amps and subwoofers? First I have the stereo that is all over the vehicle. The main control box for the radio is back near my subwoofer. I dont seem to have anything going to the woofer though.. hooked the wires to another speaker just to see if maybe the woofer was dead and nothing. I pulled what I believe to be teh power/ground wires from the amp and hooked a power port to them to see if I got anything from it and nothing. My volt meter fried a while back so no I cant check voltage on it right now but I would assume if the amp wires had any power they could light up a tiny LED on my power port test rig. I checked fuses and any of the ones that seem to go to the radio are good and when pulled shut down the tunes. I dont seem to find a isolated one for the amp. I am not ruling out that I just have a bad amp and that my power test was faulty. Anyone have any ideas or things to try on this? Would like it to work if at all possible.

If you have a factory amp, there should be a fuse for the JBL stereo on the drivers side fuse panel. I believe it is for the sub amp. Although the amps fail with time, and so does the sub. I tried for a couple of months to repair or replace mine, and it was too expensive for what I got. I suggest just going aftermarket, unless you really want it stock.

If you have the radio swapped, you might have the radio without sub output. The radio that supports subwoofer has also RDS marked on one of the buttons and will not output any bass into read doors speakers. See below the picture with the right radio for sub:

The radio without sub support will output the bass into the rear doors speakers, instead of the sub.
