Need to remove fan for radiator replacement. Shroud says right hand threads.

So me standing in front of the car, facing windshield, wrench on bolt for fan, turn counter clockwise to loosen? I can use a pry bar to hold the pump, correct? The larger spanner does not span the hex bolts.

Also fan needs replacement, will a 4.0 fit the 5.0? Having hard time tracking one down...

if your standing infront of the fan, you will need to turn it counter clockwise. your best bet is to get either a fan removal wrench because they are long and skinny, or make one from piece of scrap metal. you will have a hard time getting in there with a regular wrench. i dont think you will have enough room to get in there and hold the pump, and the fan will spin anyway. put the fan wrench in pointed up at 12 o'clock, and hit the wrench top at around 2 o'clock. sometimes they come loose easy, and other times you have to beat the hell out of them.

Thanks, I did get one of those off amazon. The pump one is too small but the fan wrench fits great.

But why must I wait til 2? I want to get this done early! :D
