get the universal fit flares from pacer, you can get different sizes and they come in a roll that you cut to fit and screw inside of the fenderwell. I have them and they are nice for how cheap they are.

i kno i've seen flared andchopped fenders on hear befor i was led to believe they were mfg if i can remember correctly..and they were fiberglass..search the site
You can use the fender flares from other Explorers, the 95-00 Explorers had some pretty big flares, too. Bushwacker makes some too, but I'd say factory flares look much better.
I've heard that the 2nd Gen flares work really well, both front and back... But, if you're going to put them on a 4 door, you've gotta get the ones from a 4-door...
