Hey, few questions for you smart people out there.
I have a 97 mounty and im getting ready to order some nitrous for it and i was wondering what is the biggest shot i could run? my mods are exhaust and intake but i am willing to do some fuel upgrades.
Also, what are some 1/4 and 1/8th mile guesstimates with the bottle?!

One more and i'll leave you guys alone (for now) How low can i drop the truck with it being awd and all?

haha thanks guys!

I've always wanted to see what a 300 shot would do.

Seriously-I wouldn't go past 100 without going through the engine first.

What kind of fluids are in the differentials transfer case, and transmission?

yeah, nitrous should be one of the last things you do... what woudl the purpose of doing it be? just to do it? i'd beef up the engine elsewhere, get the horsepower constantly instead of every now and then...

Seriously...this is the attitude that keeps engine parts manufacturers with a smile on their face. Juice is a wonderful thing...but it needs to be used in moderation...and the entire drivetrain needs to be prepped for it. Then you need to tune for it. Just bolting it on and poking the button will normally put you in line at the parts counter.

agreed.
Nitros is way unsafe for your motor.

Go dig through "The need for speed" section.
You can get a lot of info there.

also how many miles is on the engine? If it is a high mileage engine it is strongly suggested that you rebuild it completely before you run nitrous or you are going to rip apart the internals very very quickly. NOS does some great things if properly set up, but it also tears apart your engine if its not ready for it. good luck:thumbsup:

Cast pistons and crankshaft with Nitrous = BOOM!
