2002 Mercury Mountaineer
Well technically my Mountaineer is modified. I needed new tires and I finally bit the bullet and got a set of Cooper Discoverer A/T3's. I went a size up from stock to a 245/75R16 so it is a 30.5" tire instead of a 29.5. I went straight from Discount tire and hit the mountain benches and man do these things dig! I have read nothing but good about these tires, and I can't wait for it to warm up to find a little bit of mud to see what they do. Total out the door price was $588.99. Here are some pics of before, during, and after. Enjoy.

The old Goodyear Fortera Triple Tread. No so good in the snow at this point.

Not a bad price at all for the tires. I'll have to keep them in mind when I need some new skins.

Discount tire website wanted $130/tire, the store wanted $144/tire and Discount Tire Direct wanted $118/tire so the store honored that price.
