Hello All:
Just wanted to biefly introduce myself. I just sold my 2002 Expl with, wait for it, 179,561 miles on it. It was (is) a great SUV.
Had to rebuild trans twice. Would have been only once had the $#@$ done it right the first time. It went out exactly 13 months and 15k miles after it was rebuilt. It could of used rear wheel*bearings, also the second time, when I sold it. It was a hummin'.
Couldn't believe I actually got $4k for it. I told them the exact and honest history. (I beleive in honesty regardless good or bad. Especially so when it relates to unpleasant info.) However, who am I denying someone paying full asking*price w/o haggling.
Must say I was expecting 15 - $2500.
I do have another Frd*SUV, unfortunately it's not an Expl, it's a Mountaineer but it's actually more similar than I expected.
There is a lot of great info and more importantly, a lot of intelligence* on this site. I especially got great info on Prjctr Lites that I will be installing soon.
Sorry for rambling but I guess it could be considered popped now
