So, I'm pretty psyched. I'm seventeen years old, and this year for Christmas, my dad bought a '96 Ford Explorer. Well, duh, I guess if it had been anything else I wouldn't be here on this forum, right? Anyway, we've had Explorers forever. I learned to drive one when I was about fourteen, and so far it's pretty much been the only car I've ever driven. And so, as you can imagine, I'm definitely super comfortable with them! Of course, the one I learned on is a 2000, but it's practically the same as the '96. Even better, I have a push bar and running boards! (I'll need the running boards, I'm short)
Anyway, details! It's gold. Beeeeautiful! It's in really great condition, leather interior and whatnot. I was worried about the leather because it gets pretty cold in NEPA, but the heat works so well that I'm not even worried about it anymore. Summer will be a pain, though. Legs tend to stick to leather in the heat, but I guess maybe I'll put something down. Easily solved!
I'm rambling. Sorry, folks. If you're still reading, thanks! My dad will probably help me with anything I'm absolutely baffled about, but it's really nice to have this place to come to first just in case I can figure it out myself and save myself the trouble. If I screw something up, I'd rather avoid him finding out if I can, you know?
By the way, I named it! Dora the Explorer. Get it? Explorer?
