Fixing rust, and repainting...HELP

Okay, so i've finally turned 16, saved up enough money to fix my X, and get it running smoothly.....Now comes my favorite part of paying for everything on my own and feeling proud to say i have my own car.
So, my X is a 91 and has running boards, well on before the front doors on both sides and at the back of the back doors on both sides it appears rust has begun, i was wondering if anybody has had this problem, and has had it fixed, im looking to do some custom work on the hood, so i want to be able to fix the rust at the same time, have my X stripped of is paint and repainted completely, same color, just new and shinny.
Any ideas on prices? To fix 4 spots of rust, stripped down, and completely repainted?
And hopefully i will have completed the rough drawings of what i want the hood to look like so maybe i can get a few opinions on it before i start cutting, im putting in a custom hood scoop so i have direct intake.

Rust

Rust is a common appearance with the older Explorers. There are alot of replacement panels out there and also alot of posts about it. Doing a search should yeild many results.

What you are talikng about doing is an expesnsive endevor , but extreemly gratifying.
Before my Explorer I had an 84 S-10 Blazer I brought back from the dead and did some rust repair and body modifacations.
First and foremost , give your self ample time. What you are planning is not a weekend project. The more you do your self the more you'll save but it will take longer , but you'll feel better.
Lemmie know if you need any help along the way
