Sorry for all the questions lately. Just want to make sure I am doing everything right this time so I don’t have to drop the tranny for a 3rd time. I know I should inspect the flexplate spacer. Do I need to remove the flexplate/flywheel to access this spacer? Just remove the bolts and it should be behind the flexplate/flywheel?

Thanks!

Yeah that's pretty much it - looks like a hockey puck (made of steel of course) with holes drilled through it.

Got it. what is the preferred way to hold the motor from turning over while removing the bolts? Front crank bolt? My impact is junk, so I highly dough it will get them off. So I'll have to use a breaker bar.

Not sure which way is best to stop the crank from turning - I pretty much had the engine out so I was able to hold the crank with a welding glove and use an impact gun.

But also, I'm not 100 percent sure on this but I believe those bolts require external torx (e-torx) socket.
