The our 2017 2.3 EB Explorer has developed a fluttering sound coming from the dash on the drivers side. It doesn't sound like a leaf stuck in the vent, it's more mechanical. It starts around 50 mph and continues as long as your at 50 or above. It doesn't seem to increase as the speed picks up, it stays the same. I found out the drivers side roof rail was loose. I had it replaced for $130, a common issue I understand. I thought I found and resolved the flutter, it was logical, WRONG! It still flutters the same. Anybody else have this issue and if so have you fixed it. Thanks!

It could be the cowl, that piece that runs along the outside of the windshield. It isn't a new issue. You can try taping it down to see if the noise goes away. If not the cowl, check this post; 2017 Ford Explorer Driver Side Humming Noise
