whats going on people ... i have a problem with the factory fog lights on my 2000 explorer limited. i have checked every thing on the dam truck and can not understand why them dam things wont cut on.. i have checked the bulbs , fuse, even ended up changing the switch on the dash board still they wont cut on... and then today i went and bought a new relay and still they wont power on the reason for me getting the relay is because i put a 12 volt tester to the fog lamp plug and saw that no power was coming out of it...... so is their any body out their that can help me be for i just rip them out my bumper

yeah i put on the head lights checked on low beam and for the hell of it i checked them on high beams and with just the parking lamps still no juice.... i know where one of the relays are in the power distribution box but i don't know where the other one is..**** i didn't know their was 2 of them .....

so besides the relay in the power distribution box i see the other ones they are next to that air intake box does any one knows witch one is for the fog lights

Check out post one from the link. Relay 2 and 3

ok i will check them tomorrow .. would i have to change both, and how will i know if the relays are even bad?

replaced both of those relays and once again no go for the fog lights i guessing its not ment to be or the problem is deeper then what i thought if their is any other way to get them dam things working please let me know

It could be as simple (yet difficult) as a corroded or broken wire between the switch and the lights. Are you getting power to the switch?

yeah powers going to the switch but no power to the lines feeding the fog lights....i am at my wits end on this on... i mean i don't need the fog lights that much but its just really bugging me you know.....

relay number two is for the reverse lights and i changed number 3 and still no luck
