I have a Ford Ranger and not sure if the wirings are the same or different, but I see a lot of you guys have added aftermarket lights to your rigs. I installed Factory fog lights and the wiring harness was made by hella. I figured out all I needed to on that, but now I'm trying to hook that wiring kit up to the stock fog light switch.
Do I need to make jumpers for some of the wires?
The current wiring harness has :
Purple - HOT
Black - Ground
Yellow - Load (finishes circuit)
If I touch the purple to yellow, the fog lights come on. Now here is the problem.
I know what pins are which in the back of the button.... I just need help making the button itself work. I think the #3 pin is kicking my ass cause it's "normally" coming from a relay from the factory wiring harness.
Can anyone help me to get this factory switch working? I'm not too familiar with electrical, I know simple circuits, but relays and all these extra buttons, it's just a PITA.
Thanks in advance,

Factory switch color codes:
pin 1 unused
pin 2 unused
pin 3 LB/BK from relay coil to switch contacts
pin 4 BK chassis ground
pin 5 LB/RD Night illumination power
pin 6 TN/OR Hot from foglamp power wire for "ON" LED
