for the first time ever....i achieved....

WOT!!! yes!! after reading many threads about the slack in the gas pedal and thinking hmmm my pedal has huge amounts of slack i thougt i'd try it after a year of driving w/ the slack. so i opened up my TB and noticed the butterfly was only open maybe 1/4 when the pedal was completely depressed so i slapped on 3 zip ties to the spring and started her up and floored it and WOW!!! ive never felt so much of a response from my truck before! i opened the TB back up and now when the pedal is depressed the butterfly is opened completely!! its great what a minute and 3 zip ties can do! best mod ive ever done!

that's cool. i did that to another car that had a lot of slack in the pedal. but my explorer doesnt need it yet.

How exactly is this done with zipties?? I know mine has a fair amount of slack.
