Ford 8.8 31-spline on a 07 Explorer?

I want to know if the 07 Explorer has a 31-spline rear end? I've read somewhere from 95 and up the Explorers all have an 8.8 31-spline.

Correct, it is an 8.8 31 spline. Obviously the housing is different since it uses an independent suspension and CV axle setup but the ring and pinion and carrier are the same. The side gears inside the carrier are a bit different with the independent suspension 8.8 vs the solid axle 8.8, if I remember correctly.
