Hey! guys I'm a new member here.

I have the problem with my alternator. A few weeks ago, when the motor turn up at around 5000 rpm, my battery light went on and went off under 5000 rpm. So this week, the went on around 3000 rpm and my battery gauge
got down.

Today, I replace my alternator by 130 amps and when I start the motor, my
battery goes on always now. I put my meter on my battery when the motor is started, I have 14.1 volts and when the motor is off, 12.6 volts.

I don't understand now.

Anybody can't help me?

Thanks!

Welcome to this forum! 5,000 RPMs is way too high. It might have transmission issues. Check your connections to see if a bad connection is causing the indicator problem. It might also be an output on the regulator.

welcome aboard

Could be as simple as a slipping belt.
