My ford explorer 2002 has more than 161000 milles so My question is if is necessary continue with the 5 Sae W 30 or I need to change for the Sae 40 ?

Why would you ever run SAE 40? That's lawn mower oil. I've got 153,x.. and I'm still running full synthetic and doesn't burn a drop. When you get to 200,000+ you might need to switch to semi-sythetic
