maybe for undercover the lighting would be ok, but for a marked unit at certain angles it wont be as visable. It would also make more work to strip the vehicles for resale to the public

I'm sure it will be supplemented by other lighting for most LEO vehicles ... but being OEM does allow for better integration and ease of install at assembly.

Not to mention it's covered under the factory warranty which most aftermarket upfitters wont do.
