Ford Ranger A/C doesn't work.

Hey I have a 2002 Ford Ranger and the Ac only blows out hot air or air temperature and I have noo idea on what could be wrong with it>???

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the A/C & heater section. Connect a manifold gauge set to monitor the pressure in your system. It might need to be recharged with freon.

Your A/C system is likely low on charge. Like Brooklyn mentioned, you will need to either put a set of guages on it or take it to someone that has the proper equiptment to do so. If the truck has never had the system charged you might get away with a simple recharge. There is also the likelyhood that there is a major leak in the system. If that is the case the system will need to be repaired, evacuated and properly recharged.

same here and had recent dio

I have an 02 ranger as well that the A/C blows hot air. Had a free dio the other day and they told me a bad coil and some a/c clutch work needed to be done? They gave me a price I just cant afford, oh well, looks like another blisterin FLA summer, gotta love it. :thumbdwn:
