I don't think the Canadian figures have been posted yet but Ford was top seller for the 3rd consecutive year in 2012.

Explorer numbers are interesting but Interceptor Utility sales are through the roof.

Taurus is surprisingly low.

Looks like the Intercepter Utility will be the true successor to the Crown Vic instead of the Taurus.

Your right it is the most common replacement for CVPI.

In the US its about $1500 difference, Canada about $2000 but the extra storage and fuel economy over the CVPI off sets that.

And for the Greenpeace tree hugging environ-terrorists, its much lower Green House Gas emissions.

Big hurdle for SUV is simply optics, politicians don't like cops in SUV's....no real reason just perception.
