Hmmmm...
I'm not sure if I want to jump in this or retired thread. However, my '03 revs to about 3K rpm every single morning for the past two months. Temp outside has ranged from 50s to 97. So am I to understand that when my truck cranks up in the morning and its 70 degrees that 3000 rpm s normal?
Most assanine thing I have ever heard! I have owned every American and most Asian brands of cars. I have lived from Miami to the mountains of NC and never once in the 22 years I have been legally driving have I had a vehicle that revved that high on start up.
I say all of that to say this, what the hell is wrong with this piece of crap exploder? I need to keep it on the road, but can't afford to watch an 1/8th of a tank of gas disappear very Imelda I turn the key. Doesn't happen just mornings, happens at lunch and when I leave work at 6 everyday.
Any help would be appreciated.
