found right reinforcement bracket broken

This happen to my dads 2006 xlt explorer as well, and today i found my right bumper hanging alittle off so I took a look at found the right reinforcement bracket broken on my car, i look around to see if there were marks on the bumper that some hit me and none at all... is this common cause i dont want to spend another 50 $ dollar for a piece of plastic

someone parked into you? wont leave marks just breaks stuff. when they back into your front end.

nope no signs of anyone parking into me at all? my bumper is still in perfect condition except for that one piece which i have to pick up on monday from ford or wait for it to come in the mail, hopefully they have an extra part lying some place when i go to the dealership
