Ok so this weekend I fixed my axel seal, simple to do I found out. But its been broken for like 5 months now and when I went to drain the diff its like a milkshake if not thicker, I know I know not good. Is there a easy way to clean it tho? My thinking is suction out when I can. Then put clean lube in there run it some and drain it, keep doing that till its. All good, any other ideas?

is it the front or the back diff ?
back, easy take off cover, use brake cleaner, put on cover refill,
front, hmmm, not as easy, without taking it out of the Ex,

Ya its the front.

Tho I wish it was the rear then I wouldn't have to ask for help.

Any ideas? Ill try anything.

hmmm, the front diff,
on a 1st gen that means maybe pulling the drivers axle, and loosening the bolts for the carrier housing, and spraying varsol or brake clean in through the hole vacated by the axle stub coming out,,
but that might not get all of it out,,
so, maybe there is no shortcut here, and it all has to come apart ,
not good news, ,

Any ideas guys? Do I need to pull the whole front end off. Or can I jus loosen everything up to get the front diff apart?
