Front differential fluid and change

Is it hard to change the front differential fluid? What kind of fluid and do I need friction modifier too?

You just remove the fill plug, and use a suction pump to get as much old fluid out as you can, then refill through the same hole. Should take conventional 80w90 gear oil, no modifier.
