Hello all, i am about to do front differential swap to better condition one (have one bought and good to go).

The question is, what is the least amount of part removing that i have to do? i read from one post that all you have to do is remove the passenger side cv axle and you're good to remove the 3? bolts that hold the differential there. So afaik no need to disassemble driver side?

Check this thread.

tooooooo easy

remove tires, jack up front end, support truck by frame
Remove CV axle nuts, the big ones
Drop upper ball joints, both sides. Swing knucke out far enough to get CV axle out of wheel bearing
Pop CV axles out of front diff, small pry bar to defeat the circlip retainer

Drop 3ea diff mounting bolts and the diff is out.... watch out for the vent line, don't stretch it, instead unhook it

Less then an hour if you do this alot :)

Thanks for the help, but this process took me good 14 hours :D:D going to make post about in my car thread.
