Will the front drive shaft from a 2000 SOHC 4 door fit a 1997 four door?

Rockauto says they are the same part number between 97 OHV and 2000 SOHC.

Make sure that CV joint is good, especially if it’s going into an AWD transfer case.

hold the phone peeps
A v6 driveshaft will fit a v6 truck yes.
A v6 driveshaft will not fit a v8 truck and vise versa
So as long as they are both the same engine then yes they are the same part from 97-2001

95-96 still have a U joint
97-01 have the CV boot joint at t case
V6 shafts are slightly longer then v8 (5.0) shafts so they are not interchangeable (I believe the 5 speed auto behind the v6 is longer then the 4 speed auto in the 5.0, IIRC)

Ah sorry, didn’t see the ‘SOHC’ in there
