This. See the broken ujoint strap bolts? The threads are stripped and I need to extract the broken bolts. Possible from underneath the truck but it'd be easier to just pull that yoke out I think. Problem is - I can't budge that nut. Is that all that holds it in place? I'm using PB Blaster and keep trying to unturn it - but the 1-1/8" socket keep slipping off. It's not reverse thread is it? I really want my 4 wheel drive back!

Yep that nut is all that holds it in place. Not reverse threaded. I needed to use my impact gun to get mine off when I was swapping transfer cases.

Not sure how flamable PB Blaster is, but some heat may help. i.e. propane torch it for a bit. Disclaimer: DO NOT DO THIS IF FLAMABLES ARE PRESENT!
