My front driveshaft at the axle differental is leaking. Once the driveshaft is removed, what are the steps to remove the yoke. Does anyone know the size and torque specs (metric) for the yoke nut. I assume that once the yoke nut is undone and removed the yoke just pulls out then you tap out the seal and then reassemble?

You may want to be careful with that. Removing the yoke disturbs the pinion bearing preload (there is no torque spec for the nut itself, it goes by rotational preload on the bearings).

To do it, you'll need to mark EXACTLY where the nut is in relation to the pinion stem & yoke. When you reassemble it, everything has to go back together EXACTLY where it was (not a degree more or less on the pinion nut). You also cannot replace ANYTHING else in there besides the seal for this procedure to work properly.

Be sure to clean the threads of any oil and use Loctite on the pinion nut when you reassemble it.
