OK Guys - I need some advise!
I have a 2000 Explorer 4x4 with an OHV - about 110k miles. I haven't used it much for off-road, but occasionally. Recently I've taken it into tougher 4x4 situations (north GA mountains).
When it is climbing hard or heavy mud in 4x4 (high), it makes noise up in the front end. Something like a lower pitched whine.
I'm not sure if this is normal - of if there is special maintenance I should be doing since it hasn't been a regular off-roader till it had over 100k miles.
Any tips?
