My 2006 explorer is making a rubbing noise in the front end. It increases/decreases with speed change and becomes much louder with some vibrations when turning the wheel either direction. Any thoughts or ideas as to where I should start looking would be very appreciated!

I would start with the bearing hubs. Lift the front end and spin each wheel. It should spin easily and smoothly. Listen for any noise. Any sort of "sshhhh sssshhhh ssshhhh" sound should be related to the brakes. There should be no noise with the bearings.
