Got a whirring noise up front that has been bugging me. Mainly right around 27-35 mph- and seems to disappear at other speeds. Thought it was wheel bearings - but after replacing both, noise remains. I'm thinking it may be the pinion bearing after reading up across the web - but I'm not really sure how to confirm that diagnosis. Any suggestions?

It seems to be felt in the floorboard (vibrations) of driver/passenger.

You might want to check your driveshaft....
