Hey all, I've got a 2001 Sport Trac that had a 6 disc Pioneer unit.

Since I bought the car, the front left speaker has been out. I've replaced the front speakers and the head unit with no luck!

Any ideas on what it could be? Is the amp just for the subwoofer or does it take the speakers too? If so bad amp? Or do I have a broken wire somewhere?

Any ideas would be helpful... Thanks!

Broken wire in the drivers door jamb- pull back rubber boot and inspect/fix. I payed ford once for broken wires just for them to break again in a yr. they used connectors, I suggest solder. That's how I fixed it the 2nd time

Broken wires in the door jamb is most likely the culprit.

Hit the nail on the head..for posterity and future reference I did in fact find the blue and white wire broken in the door jamb. Here it is after repair..

Glad it was a simple fix!
