The drivers seat wont move forward quite as far as the passenger one and my wife finds the accelerator pedal a slight stretch.

Is there a fix that enables the drivers seat to be moved on the runners or something?

Thanks

do you have a power seat or a manual seat?

did you check the tracks for anything on them?

how the motor sounds?

Hi. Yes tracks checked. The motor works fine in all directions. It's simply that it won't go forward quite far enough

Try prying over your seatbelt stalk that is wedged between your seat and the center console. It gets in the way of the seat and if you move it around while engaging the power seat switch to move the seat forward, it can be moved aside and the seat will move all the way forward.
