Frostbite 2010

I had a blast--- there where a ton of rigs out there-- from stock to wild. Good to put some faces with the sign ons... all I can say is Whoo hoo! Trails where so slick-- and my truck didn't blow up-- the mud kinda evened every one out-- the "Big Boys" where slip slidin around as much as us little guys. as a whole we went everywhere and had a great time. My rig even went places some of the guys with the dana 44 fronts had problems with, but I guess I lead us through it :-) Oh and I spent $20 on rafffle tickets and won $25 from jc whitney.

:-) Really had a great time!!

Definitely had fun, to bad I didn't get to run with you guys the rest of the day my co-pilot was tired of sitting around so we followed a J**P and Dakota around while getting to pull the j**p out. My Explorer surprised me once again climbing like a damn mountain goat.

Video of Marks rig

Techie's brothers Dakota, to bad I missed the part where you see him almost sliding off the hill.

Came out pretty good in the raffle spent $10, and won a $200 certificate towards a ox-locker but not sure I'll be able to use it since the lockers are like $900. Also won a 25% off from All pro to bad their all Toyota stuff, now to do some trading with my Toyota friends.:p:

The raffle was set up with little plastic containers by each prize. You would buy your tickets and place as many chances as you wanted in each prize bin.

So the body massage for Sheri and weekend stay were intentional see. :D

Although I did put over half of them in for the winch-;)

Are there more pictures?

Holy mud fought me half the day. It was a blast down there. I had two hills that I had to fight like hell to get up. The first one I ended up with the left front tire hang over the edge. the second one I don't think I have ever romped on the truck that hard just to a few feet. I also did totally break my passenger mirror it just clearanced(sp) itself. pics coming later. I have to go get the good camera.

You were right behind me most of the day, I don't know how we made it through some of that stuff. Good Times!

Every time I thought you were going to have trouble, I ended up having trouble.

Ok, here a couple of cell-phone pics from my passenger, Enrique. He was planning on taking more, but this was his first time off road, and I am pretty sure he was fearing for his life most of the day, lol. He definitely had a white knuckle grip on the grab handle, haha!
Here's right after I lost my mirror, watching Mark try to make it up this hill and waiting my turn.

We had a $10 dallor wash job as well and still could have done better. Hands were getting frozzen,Man what a great day. I really had fun watching everyone plow there ways up these nasty muddy hills. Joshua said it sounded like bubble wrap popping the mud was so goooy!! Everyone of you guys should be proud of your rigs. I'd have trouble and you guys would run right up it. Just to cool!! More pic's!!

I still have to wash my truck. Been lazy today, maybe tomorrow, lol.

The boys made it home yesterday evening. Clint said there was a Heep trying to pull another Heep to the parking lot but was having trouble and others were trying to get back at the same time. Come ta find out the dead Heep owner was an old friend from 20 or so years back. He asked fer some help as the rescue Heep had open diffs front and back. Clint said ta just leave things they way they were and he pulled around and hooked a strap on to the lead Heepie. Guess there were some talk back at the parkin lot bout a little Bronco II pulling in two Heepies but no one took a pic so folks were sayin it couldn't of happened. Clint has a through away camera with pics. We'll drop it off today and when I get the pics back on disk I'll post a link for them.

Did anyone get pictures of Sparksaflyin winching the dodge?

I think Joe my co-driver got it on video with his phone I'll have to see if I can get it from him.

Did anyone get pictures of Sparksaflyin winching the dodge?

The winching of the camo dodge

I wonder how many times that dodge got winched out of trouble. I know he went back out there. That hill was just part of the main loop road-ha ha ha

We all made it up on our own. That truck should have been put back on the trailer.

Looks like you all had a great time, to bad I was at work :)
