Fuel Pump Power

Fuel pump won't engage 70% of the time. Relay ok. replaced lower ignition switch on steering column, good for a while, now it does it again! can I bypass that switch? Larry

Check the EEC relay. Fuel pump relay could be good but without the EEC relay working the PCM won't energize the fuel pump relay.
