Is there any reason I couldn't swap an explorer fuel pump sending unit into my B2 .... The two are not the same in length but it looks like I might be able to shorten the X's tubes to fit in the b2's 19gal tank.
I swapped the entire wiring harness from the X into my Bronco to better accommodate the 1994 4L and Trans.. The OEM sending unit in the B2 is kaput, besides I like the way the X's sending unit has a pigtail where the OEM B2 plugs directly into the top of the sending unit, which has proven to be a week point in the over all design. I'm assuming that's why FORD opted for the new design in the X.
