Ok great news I now have a leak in my fuel tank on the front end,if I put over a 1/2 tank in there it seeps out and the smell of the fumes are killing me..So heres my question can I just take the tank down from the front side to get it low enough to where i can clean the area and then patch the problem? or will I have to remove the whole freaking thing? I can see the area which is causing me issues however i want to be able to get it down low enough so i can assure myself its clean and patched..Thanks

Go get a tube of Seal all

Find the holes. Sand the area a little, glob some seal all over the holes, and patch it with duct tape. See if this doesn't work for a few years. Oil, gas, water actually help the seal all cure.

We fixed 1/8" holes in an s10 pickup this way, the repair lasted well over 3 years before he got rid of the truck.
