I want to B.... Slap a Ford engineer or two.
I've been hunting a vac leak for the past two weeks, CEL code P2195 / lean condition bank 1 sensor 1. After many hours on my butt inside the wheel wells I finall came down to the PCV valve, what a great place for this unit. This PCV valve slips into a small cup and is sealed with an O-ring and a very
flimsey little plastic retainer that you are going to pry off gently, it snaps in half of course. but in the process of getting to the little bugger you need to move a electric cable and the coolent return hose. the coolent return hose assy promptly snaped in half at a chezzy plastic tee and I was being gentle. So off to the parts store, they don't even carry the pvc valve and the retainer and o-ring was out of the question, coolent return hose assy, they just smiled and pointed to the dealership. The dealership DID NOT have a pcv valve or the retainer or o-ring and placed an order, it will be here middle of next week, 27.00. They could only find one coolent return hose assy in texas for 140.00. You have got to be kidding. ROCK auto same part 49.00 with three day shipping 60.00 and it's an OEM part. Hopefully I'll be up and running middle of next week and I'll bet I still have a vac leak. I really miss my old 300 ford 6cyl.
