Gas Gauge stops working after removal and reinstallation

I was getting a bit curious last night when i was trying to figure out why my RPM guage goes straight up to 3k RPM when i start my car. I started out by removing the insturment panel.

I got it out and realized there is no way its the gauge, it has to be some sensor or something going bad. So i reinstalled the insturment panel and went.

I drove around a minute to check the speedo, just make sure i got that cable back in there and everything. RPM guage still acting up, oil pressure guage still fake, and Gas guage at full? i said wait a minute, i had a half a tank when i took this thing off... why is it full now? haha

mine bounces around like that 2 sometimes all depends on where i'm driving i usually only believe the thing when i get in the car after it's been sitting for awhile after that 4get even checking it lol
