I get an intermittant gas smell when braking or turning sharp cannot find a leak or smell it when under truck, now it doesn't want to start, it cranks over and after 3 or 4 times of trying it will start and run fine. Then it will run fine for a week or maybee a couple of days then do the same thing. When I notice the gas smell the tank has been anywhere from 1/4 to full so I am not overfilling it when I notice it. I am planning on changing plugs and fuel filter soon, its a 02 xlt 4.o 4x4, 65,000 miles, any ideas?
