Gas Smell

I have a '98 Explorer XLT that has a pretty strong gas smell inside the vehicle and under the hood. There are no signs of a leak on the garage floor, and I noticed last night that even without the car runnning and the key in acces. there was still a smell.

Any thoughts?

Pastor Dan,

I have a 98 XLT with the same problem, check the fuel lines going to the fuel rail, they should be damp, that should be your problem.
