Gearing

quick question...i have 3.55 gears in my X, can i go to a junk yard and grab 4.10 gears out of another X to put in mine? say if i buy a new install kit from 4wheelparts...would that be ok to do???

Unless you have the tools to setup gears and know exactly what to do (preload, backlash, etc..), it would be easier and more cost effective to just buy the entire axle and swap it with the current axle.
