Hi, so I was trying to see what the Gibson Cat-Back sounded like before I bought it, however I could not find one video of it on a first gen. (Lots of reviews but no video) So I figured I'd buy it, then record what it sounds like, for anyone else wanting a new exhaust.

The cheapest I found it was at Jegs.com.

I love the sound! A nice deep tone to it, but still mellow and healthy sounding.

Sorry, no revs. :( My phones mic picks up the idle great but just gets all weird when you rev it, so I just cut that out of the video. I hope this helps anyone trying to find a new cat-back!

If you have any questions. Feel free to ask!

EDIT: For 1991-1992 get the Gibson 19677
For 1993-1994 get the Gibson 19685
(They also have full stainless steel versions)

I got the Gibson Stainless catback setup 18 years ago. It still sound great nice deep tone.

That sounds great for those going after the hollow sounding exhaust. I'd have to say it sounds better than flowmaster.

One trick to pick up loud sounds from your phone is to hold your finger over the mic. Obviously you would need someone else to rev it for you.
