Not new to this site but have never posted here before.
Just wanted to pass on to those who are interested about the quality of this cat back stainless steel system.
I went with SS because of life here in New England.
The system went on with no problems and sounds really nice. This is the first aftermarket item I have installed on my 1995 XLT V6. I recently purchaced this
Explorer in Florida with 28K. Have plans for more mods as time and $$$ permit. Thanks for reading my post

Good luck with your explorer....happen to have any sound files of the exhaust?

Welcome to the boards Jim!! Hope you'll love this site!!

I also want to hear a sound clip of it. Is it loud inside on the highway?? I've heard some people say that aftermarket exhausts' noise really annoy them on the highway.

yeah, is it much louder than stock? i've been looking at getting a gibson. thanks. oh yeah, where does the tail come out? straight rear or swept to the side? thanks.

Sorry guys I do not have a sound clip for ya, I will say however that it does rumble a little when you get on it.
At normal cruising speeds it's not to bad. The tip does exit off the left rear wheel and not out the back. I would say that if noise is a concern for you, stick with a stock system. I have a Walker Dynomax on my 93 that is about the same as stock. This sysytem was not available
in stainless when I got it 3yrs. ago and I think it is about at the end of it's life. I paid like $129.00 or so ,but if you live in bad weather with salty roads it may not be a good choice.
