GM Non-Serviceable Fuel Filters

ExplorerDMB, I know a lot of Jeeps have the filter and pump together in the tank. If you need one you have to buy both, my 2000 Wrangler was that way. They said it never needs replacing, I didn't keep it long enough to find out. Bunch of B.S if you ask me.

Yeah, sending units aren't cheap by themselves, much less when they also have a filter on them. Manufacturers find great ways to say things: "A fuel filter that will last a life time"...which a "life time" isn't specified and is meant when the thing clogs and you aren't getting good pressure - it's past it's prime. Maybe some inventive soul will come up with something. I'm sure the aftermarket will be all over this one. Especially with the issue on full size pickups and vettes.
