Ok guys! I just want to announce that I'm gonna be the first one i know of attempting the spindle lift on my 2wd ford explorer sport. I already did the torsion and shackle lift so w/ the 3 inch spindle lift in the front and 2inch ome spring +Shackle in the back I should get about a 3.5 inch lift all around. I just want to know if anyone has done this and is there any suggestions in installing all of these. Any advice especially w/ replacing my monleaf would be gladly appreciated.

With this 3.5 inch lift do i need to reaplce anything or extend anything?

i would definately get some extended brake lines and also shouldn't u get like 4 1/2 inches 3'' spindles+1.5tt your driveshaft should be ok so other than the brake lines you should be fine

You don't need extended brake lines. The 95+ models all have more than enough length. Just move the brackets down and that should works just fine. When I put my lift on, all we did was move the brackets down a couple of inches.

Where did you get those spindles?

ooops i forgot u guys only have like 4 inches of wheel travel yeah u just need to drop the bracket and pull the steel break line a bit down and then remount the bracket....damn ifs!!!

Where is this bracket brake line located? In the rear or front? Or near each brake?
I'm getting the spindle from 4x4 land but i was quoted by 4wheel parts $407 for the psindle.
They also told me $216 for the OME-36 but thats prob for two. Is there other cheaper 2 inch springs i could use. Does explorer pro comp make one?

Are the leaf springs different in a 4wd and 2wd? I just talked to 4wheelparts and they said that they do not have OME EMU listed for 2wd and I aksed about the the trailmaster and they said that its only for 4wd. I'm confused. I have a 2wd.

Since I'm gonna get a 4.5 lift in the front, i decided to go with the 4" skyjacker spring in the rear and get rid of my shackles. Anyone know the item number or model year for the spring?
