Well I'm gonna buy some new Torsion bars, and since I can't find any aftermarket ones, OEM replacements will have to do, this is a site that I found that has em for cheap, as far as I know, don' t know what type they are, as far as B, C, D, or whatever strengths they are.

Any recommendations, as to where I should go/look for the "B" Bars.

BTW how hard can it be to replace em, 4x4 shop wanted $250 to put new ones on and align the tires, not to mention $125 per bar.

B rated bars are the stiffest. As far as I know, they aren't hard to replace. Any reason for the replacement? Getting a lot of sagging?

Yeah sagging really bad, front is 3 inches lower than the back. and the right side is 3/4" lower then the left, figured they are like what 8 years old, they prolly need to be replaced, and hopefully it'll fix my problem.

Sagging 3 inches lower in the front and you did a TT? Wow, I have no idea what would cause that much sag unless your bars are bent somehow...

He does have the 4" superlift so it could have something to do with that.

i've heard exploders sag in the rear
(i have a 96 and no sag)but the front is somewhat new to me atleast

You're still running the original rear springs right? So even with the Warriors you wouldn't get that much lift. What rating bars do you have now?

No, I'm not using the originals, they are the Superlift springs, for my 4" kit.

I have "B" bars now.

Plus you have a springover in the rear, don't you?

I think the biggest problem is that you have the lifted springs on and the warrior shackles. If you also have an SOA, your rear will sit higher than your front. The torsion bar should not sag enough to cause a 3" difference. A guy at work has a '98 and had to have his torsion bars turned up a bit since the combined weight of him and his wife easily exceeds 700 lbs.

Anyway, if you want a hand replacing your bars, give me a call, I've had mine out 3 or 4 times now. It's not difficult. Each bar takes about 45 minuts to swap.

Sure Robert if you wanna gimme a hand with that, that'd be cool, I'll see if my friend wants to do it with me, if not I'll look you up, hopefully I'll get em friday, just got all my lights in today, so if I get all the mud off, i'll do all the lighting today. The back, corners, lamps.
