Good News/Bad News

Good News:

My wife is having a baby boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sold the Ex on Friday. I literaly cried after it left. With 195k miles my Ex was still running good but with a few problems here and there. However, I still had to sell it as we have 4 cars right now and the other one might be going soon.

My Ex had 67,453 miles when I bought it in Spring of 98. Never really did any mods to it but a few. My Ex took me to college 3 and 4 times a week (40 miles one way) for 4 years, to and from work everyday for 8 years, countless trips to Las Vegas and Yosemite, trips to San Diego, San Francisco, Chico, and even more countless trips to the mountains and lakes sometimes towing toys.

After all of this and about 130k miles later I began to use my Ex as a second vehicle. I must have put 100k miles on the Ex in about 5 years. And after all that, the Ex never complained once. Not once. What a great truck it was.

I will miss my Ex and I prayed that it would go to a good home...

Congrats on the baby boy My son just turned 1yrold. I used the baby as an excuse to get an EX. Told my wife I did'nt want to drive my 98 escort with a baby in it. Did'nt think it would hold up too well if we had a side impact collision. The escort was a great car. 30mpg from day one til trade-in. Over 111k on it at trade in all miles were mine.

Congratulations. I just happened to find out Friday that I am going to be a Dad for the first time too.
